My Approach

I believe effective psychiatric care begins with understanding the whole person, not simply treating a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I want to understand who you are as a person—your goals, your aspirations, what matters to you, and what you hope your life can look like.

Together, we can incorporate these priorities into a plan of care that supports not only your mental health, but the life you want to build.

Thoughtful, evidence-based medication management tailored to you. When appropriate, medication may serve as a temporary support while you develop skills through therapy and make meaningful changes in your life. For some conditions, longer-term treatment may be beneficial.

My approach is collaborative.

I want you to understand your treatment options and take an active role in decisions about your care.

The goal is not simply to feel better today, but to help you make meaningful changes that support lasting improvement.

Meet Your Provider

Ron Proskey, PMHNP-BC

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience caring for adults with a wide range of mental health concerns, including complex and serious mental illness.

I believe good psychiatric care starts with getting to know the person behind the symptoms. I take time to understand your experiences, goals, concerns, and what you want your life to look like so that together, we can make treatment decisions.

My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with collaboration, education, and attention to the factors that affect mental health beyond medication.

Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Thank you for taking the first step toward your well-being. Whether we work together or you find another path, I wish you peace and growth on your journey toward mental health.
